Notes:

This issue of THESE RESTLESS HEADS is identical to the trade issue ("Second Printing Before Publication"), TRH-A2, except for the binding, a slight simplication of the preliminary pages, and the title page. On the title page, the publisher's name, robert m. mcbride & company, has been replaced with the literary guild. The more common binding of this issue, in mottled boards, TRH-A2a, was issued together, in the same slipcase and a matching binding, with a Literary Guild issue of the revised edition of Carl Van Doren's JAMES BRANCH CABELL, A11c. That work was also issued by The Literary Guild in a matching black binding, A11d, but it is not clear to the present compilers if the two were issued together, or if these are secondary bindings and the two were sold separately. Can any reader help, or confirm if the two titles were issued together in slipcase?
