This printing is a transitional one. It has the Style 3 binding, with the "monk scribe device", but has the older style type "D" title page with the "BL" Modern Library device. Earlier printing[s?: BL-B1 (ML)] had the same type "D" title page, but also had a style 2 binding with the "BL" device. A later printing [*BL-B3 (ML)] also has the Style 3 binding, but pairs it with the matching type "E" title page.
