Notes:

Hall states that the gilt lettering on the spine is ... in a distinctly different type-setting [compared to the first issue]. As can be seen from the comparison above, the spine title and author's name are identical in both bindings. The difference is in the publisher's name at the base of the spine. In this issue, the typeface is different and the font is slightly larger.
